Children with autism are not called “special” for no reason. A special child has been creating inspiration online recently with his amazing skills in making mini sculptures using clay.
In the Facebook group Guhit Pinas, one of the members, Salva Cris, shared her 10-year-old child’s hobby: creating small yet detailed clay sculptures.
“Share ko lang po itong mga clay art ng anak ko na 10 years old. May autisim po siya pero marami po siyang talento,” the mother wrote in the caption of the pictures that she uploaded in the group which has been a virtual home to over 160,000 of Filipino artists and art enthusiasts.
A lot of members love the little one’s art works, expressing support and leaving sweet messages in the comments section of the posts.
“Nice. Magandang hobby niya po iyan kapag nagkataon. My brother has autism, too, and it’s a good thing that he loves art, as well, ’cause I can teach him art-related stuff; drawing or maybe molding clay. And these things allow us to have a good time bonding together,” Adrian Sinpai commented.
“Keep it up! Mas gagaling ka pa, sure ‘yan,” Chaney Princess Cusipag Azucena wrote
“Hindi po hadlang ang kanyang kalagayan,” Mistr Eal III said. “Support lang po kayo sa kanya.”
“Ten years old lang siya? Ang galing naman! May talent. Support lang po kayo para hindi masayang,” Cea Gawat Jhonabelle expressed.
As of writing, Cris’ post has already received over 1,000 shares and more than 13,000 reactions.
Meanwhile, Cris assured that she will never get tired of supporting his son’s love for art, no matter how hard it is to raise a child with special needs.
“Support lang kami kahit napakahirap ng sinusuong namin sa sitwasyon po niya,” the loving mom said.
